Desolation Sound
has approximately 10 Pictograph sites. I have five
sites to show you. By visiting these sites, you will
develop a feeling for finding new ones. The rest we
will leave for you to discover. To get a print-out of
this area, go to our
Library.
Although these print-outs were made from Nobeltec software
and NDI charts, they have been modified for finding
Pictograph and Petroglyph sites and are not for navigation.
Another fun activity that can get everone off the boat is
Geocaching. All you require is a hand held GPS and to
register with the Geocaching group to get their information.
