The trail to this site begins on the north side of the river and is about a 1/4 mile.  It is marked with blue "Trail" tape.  There is a fairly deep channel that runs along the shore allowing a dinghy to the trail-head.

This Petroglyph was probably made by a missionary working in this area.  It is on a serene part of the river which could well have been his chosen place for worship.

If you take the geometric parts and translate each one; a circle - represents a place, a square - represents four walls or a home, a triangle - represents the trinity or the eye of God and a cross is a symbol of worship.  Put them all together and it becomes "This is Gods home, worship it".

As with all Petroglyphs, use only flour to highlight them for photographing.
